You should be aware that the syllabus can vary slightly from year to year Examination Structure All candidates are expected to take three separate examination papers as outlined below.
Candidates who have studied the Core syllabus content will take Papers 1, 3 and either 5 or 6. The maximum grade that can be achieved from these papers is C.
Candidates who have studied the Core and Supplement syllabus content will take Papers 2, 4 and either 5 or 6. Papers 1 and 2 are multiple-choice papers.
Papers 3 and 4 are written papers. Candidates will take either Paper 5 or Paper 6, in which they will not be required to use knowledge outside the Core syllabus content.
Paper 5 is a practical test. Paper 6 is an alternative to the practical paper. I cannot provide past papers for you through this site so please don't ask me! Past papers and mark schemes are available to download from the Cambridge website.
Examiners reports are also very useful as they can help you to identify where other students made common mistakes, so that you can avoid making them too.
